Ricky Thornton Jr. nets two-win weekend in Micro at US 24 Speedway

With the SSI Motorsports No. 20RT Late Model sitting idle over the weekend, Ricky Thornton Jr. visited US 24 Speedway (Logansport, Ind.) on Saturday to pull triple duty in the Micro ranks aboard his Hoker Trucking-backed entries.

After topping the speed charts in time trials in all three divisions, Thornton followed up a flag-to-flag victory in the A-Class Winged feature with an impressive eighth-to-first run in the Non-Wing A-Main. He earned a pair of $500 paydays for his 35th and 36th wins of the 2023 season. Starting the A-Class Non-Wing main event in 19th via a third-place result in his B-Main, Ricky advanced forward 15 spots to register a fourth-place finish.
